I always need my purses to be hands-free because, chances are, if I’m going somewhere, I’ve got things to carry: groceries, kids’ school or sports gear, the dog’s leash, shopping bags, takeout. Having a crossbody messenger-style bag for my wallet, phone and keys is a must for me. But not all of these bags are created equally. Some have straps that are difficult to adjust, slip or swing around a lot, or leather straps that are wiry and hard and dig into your skin. Thankfully, this bag is none of those things.

First, the strap is silky smooth, lightweight, no uncomfortable textures that dig in to your skin, and incredibly easy to adjust for the perfect fit, no matter what size you are. The bag itself is made of a lightweight, silky material that is easy to carry and doesn’t swing or twist around you. I barely notice I’m wearing it sometimes. There is also a handy front zipper pocket that’s perfect for the phone or keys, whatever I need to grab.

The interior is deep and made of material that seems easy to wipe down in case of any spills or messes. There are two interior pockets that are too small for a phone, so I’m not sure what they’re for. There is also a back zipper on the inside, crucial for tucking away flat items like sanitary napkins or tissue, or maybe some makeup or pens.

If I have one complaint, it’s that the bag doesn’t really fit a standard size pocketbook-style wallet. You can stuff it in there horizontally, but then it’s tough to remove and will pull out everything else in your bag along with it. If you slide the wallet in vertically, you have to work some magic with the zipper to close it carefully so that it doesn’t bust. Designing this bag to be just an inch taller, or 2 inches wider, would’ve solved the problem. So, I’m not sure why it has its particular dimensions.

Overall, I am satisfied with this purse and look forward to using it in the seasons to come!
